"Since the beginning of Season of Mastery the topic of where seasonal characters would finish up after the season is over has been a hot topic of discussion for the community at large but for the team internally too. We've had a lot of time discussing the topic with our fellow players, talking to SoM players and reading their comments on these forums as well as social media. It's clear that there's a fervent desire to to carry on these adventures for your characters from Season of Mastery as they progress to Wrath of the Lich King WOTLK Classic. We are excited to let people know there will be an option for Season of Mastery characters to switch between WOTLK Classic Era either Wrath of the Lich King WOTLK Classic without cost after the current season begins to wind down."
More details will be released in the near future. It's quite a long way off and is expected to take place following the release of Naxxramas in Season of Mastery. Naxxramas raiders will have time to breathe before the process starts.
