Runelite HD is OSRS gold a mod (made by one individual with 117) that makes use of Old School RuneScape and gives it an HD revamp. Since the year 2018, Jagex were issuing legal threats to mods that were similar to this, alleging copyright infringers. However, it appears that those threats have been blown away as Jagex gave their blessing to one of the first Runelite.
But earlier this week, just hours before the enhanced Runelite HD was due for an official release The 117 team was contacted Jagex, demanding that work cease and the release be canceled. This time, however, it's not due to copiesright claims, but instead because Jagex declares that they are making the own HD upgrade.
While that sounds somewhat fair at first, there's a major issue. Runelite HD doesn't actually seem to break any Jagex modding guidelines. The company claims that new guidelines that spell out the fact Runelite HD does actually break the rules will be released this week.
Mod creator 117 claims they tried to negotiate with Jagex by offering to delete their mod once Jagex was done its own effort, but, "they declined outright," appearing to be the final word for a work that consumed "approximately more than 2000 hours of work over two years."For all its fierce competitiveness, RuneScape isn't just a diverse group of people. The truth is that ... but , as with many other communities, RuneScape's can band together and help each other out in the form of a few moments of glory that are worthy of knightly respect that is often depicted on screen.
The most RuneScape gold significant act has to be the work of Jagex's developers Jagex in the form of a dedication of an icon in game (and the last time, a pub) in memory of the high-ranked player, 'The Old Nite', who sadly passed away in real life in 2006. He'd been playing since the start of the game in 2001. He often held the position of second-highest ranked player, just after Zezima.
