NBA 2K has evolved

It's now a cultural moment and the intersection of music, pop culture clothing, sneakers, and of obviously, basketball has taken the franchise to heights have not been matched by any other game. The most recent edition of the game, NBA 2K23, the game made history after announcing J. Cole as the first rapper ever to be featured on the cover of NBA 2K with the Dreamer Edition. Although it's definitely a surprise that 2K announced a cover like this especially so late in the game's release, the prevailing trend of the game's gameplay may have hinted at this happening some day. However, even with that said it wasn't the idea of 2K, it was J. Cole's.
