In a recent post on the forum, Blizzard now says its opinions on
WOTLK Gold the subject have "changed quite an amount" since those first interviews.Wrath of the Lich King Classic doesn't currently have an official release date, however it will be available later this year. Modern WoW's latest expansion, Dragonflight is also scheduled to release before the close of 2022.
A Story of World of Warcraft So FarSee MoreSome WoW fans are asking Blizzard To Delay Dragonflight
The release date for World of Warcraft 's next expansion, Dragonflight, is far closer than most players expected due to Blizzard recently confirming the expansion is on track with a release date of 2022.
It was not something that many players from the game's community would have expected to hear. In fact, when Blizzard announced Dragonflight in April, it made sure not to give any kind of release date or window instead, telling players they would get it at the time it was ready.
Players aren't sure what to think about this. On one part, the players are eager to get over the disappointments of Shadowlands and get back to Azeroth proper. On the other hand because of the tardiness in the release of Dragonflight, and the fact that testing for alpha for Dragonflight is still not underway on the game's publicly-tested realm (but is likely coming very soon) the players are worried a 2022 release date is too soon. A large part of the community nearly begging Blizzard to delay Dragonflight and give it time and then release the expansion at some point in 2023 rather than early.
For sure, an alpha-testing period of less than six months for tests, beta testing, pre-patch (which is usually a few weeks) and the expansion release does seem like short time frame. But it's not unrealistic, as
cheap WOTLK Goldmembers in the group have pointed out on Reddit.
