As expected in a Diablo game There is a lot of Dungeons to explore throughout Diablo 4. But the new open-world feature adds a layer of complexity to the proceedings. I was shocked when I encountered a cliff
Diablo IV Items, and found an option to "climb down" which led me to another area on the map.
Although it's not an extensive vast open world such as Elden Ring or The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, it was interesting to have a larger area to explore. Previous Diablo games featured randomly generated worlds that seemed large and yet small. While Fractured Peak was still restricted, it didn't feel like I was confined to the map. There are horses that you can purchase but only after you complete the quest, which is accessible later.
In the time I played the build I was drawn by the Diablo 4 story and the way it played, which isn't something I was experiencing in Diablo 3 where it was the gameplay that kept me returning but the story was lost. When you combine that with an open world, I was more eager to explore the world while also thinking about how I could make my own Barbarian. It's that blend of story and gameplay that made my experience in Diablo 4 so interesting and is expected to be the same to fans once it's out.
It doesn't matter where Diablo 4 players come from or what their platform of choice can be played on, Blizzard is announcing in a press release in which the next chapter in Diablo 4 will be cross-platform play and no region lock, allowing friends to play without restrictions. Although Diablo 3 was one of the top-selling PC games of 2012 after Diablo 3's Ultimate Evil Edition came out for PS4 and Xbox One, it significantly transformed the game's fan base. it was also the first Blizzard release for consoles in the modern times of the company and it laid the foundation to Overwatch, Diablo 2: Resurrected, and now Diablo 4 to follow
