This is not the only expansion for Blizzard in the same way that the
WOTLK Goldveteran Activision Studio Vicarious Visions was recently folded into Blizzard in order to aid the development of the World of Warcraft franchise.
The terms of Blizzard's deal with Proletariat weren't disclosed However, it's Blizzard's first big buyout since it purchased Swinging Ape in 2005.
John Hight, the general manager of World of Warcraft at Blizzard The deal to buy Proletariat will aid in helping Blizzard meet the demands of the WoW players.
"As you probably are aware the players of World of Warcraft have a voracious appetite for content," Hight said. "And what we've learned in the last year is that we need to increase both the volume of content that we can create, and the frequency of placing it in the hands of our players."
Hight explained that Proletariat is a perfect match for Blizzard due to the fact that the team was adept at medieval fantasy and stylized art, two of the main themes of WoW. Blizzard started talking to Proletariat in December 2021 . the studio was working together with Blizzard since May of this year.
By acquiring Proletariat, Blizzard now has teams across both the coasts from the United States, which could help with the ambition to create more content on WoW and release it sooner. Proletariat's staff includes those who have worked on The Lord of the Rings Online and D&D Online. Proletariat was founded in 2012 by people who
buy WOW WOTLK Classic Goldworked previously at Harmonix, Turbine, and Insomniac.
