Yeah, it feels somewhat oily. Yes, there's an enormous amount of work
WOW WOTLK Classic Gold to be done for each one of these tiny patches, big or small and yes, it's a pleasure to have been able to, at this point offer a variety of patches. 7.2 was just a few days since we landed in Broken Shore, and have been pushing towards The Tomb of Sargeras. With 7.2.5 we'll see that raid opening along with a few more bits of content coming in as well, such as the Chromie scenario, new micro-holidays, new brawls or whatever, we'll be able to do it all.
How meticulously does the team have this roadmap in place? It's obvious that for 7.2.5 you're aware of what's coming out, but for ones later on, are you guys partly playing that by ear and testing how it plays out?
It's all about. We don't work on one patch at an time. We have a variety of different wheels going at once, and how much head start you will get on the wheel depends on how big the wheel is. For something like 7.2 It was considered either when original Legion was being launched in the beginning, or maybe an hour or two before. For something similar to 7.2.5 The team that is working on that is a bit more flexible. We're better able to adapt to the requirements of the game, so if that's specific changes to a class mechanic, we can modify the game's mechanics. If it's something as simple as deciding when it feels right to allow to open the Tomb of Sargeras to be unlocked, we make those changes and also adding new content.
I mentioned the Chromie scenario in the past. One of the advantages of the Chromie scenario is that as we built it we were making a decision what frequency you should run the scenario, and after hearing a lot of feedback about how some of the elements in 7.2 feltlike it was a little bit gated, that definitely affected some of the decisions of how Chromie ended up playingout, and there's really no time-gating in any way.
What makes the raids distinct from patches you've made in relation to your development process
buy WOTLK Gold ? As compared to the past raids aren't as closely aligned with patches as they were prior. They take place a few days after. How does this affect the development of the patches themselves?
