I made an effort to preserve the armour so it's not too costly, for instance an Divine Spirit Shield would be the best shield for use but not everyone is able to afford that

Which barrows should i get guthans or torags? Both are reasonable for me. Additionally, since I'm planning on an abarrows set, should I put aside my plans for a fighter torso? Also , what should I do using my dragon's platelegs, and rune platebody?
If you are looking for a barrows set, I'd recommend Veracs. The skirt and helm provide the strongest defenses for their specific positions (of the armours of the barrows) while the brassard is less durable than Guthan's, Torag's or the plates of Dharok. But, Verac's provides a good prayer bonus (unlike other barrows armours) and also makes an exceptional set.
Now, I understand there's already Dragon Legs and you're aiming for a fighting torso, so what I'd advise those of you who have Dragon Legs is to keep them as your primary armour, but have a Guthan's set with you for use with its special attack as a healing mechanism.
This way your main armour set is non-degradable and offensive friendly (torso gives strength bonuses, unlike barrows). Also keep in mind that, besides Dharok's and Verac's
RS 2007 Gold, in certain circumstances and situations, all other Barrows sets (including this weapon) are not useful.
