Hello everyone! JagexHQ has witnessed the popularity of the Ironman Challenge grow and we have been enjoying watching athletes take on the challenge through YouTube streams or videos.
The Ironman Challenge, a community-craze in which players create a RuneScape character. It is only possible to use the resources and equipment that you own and can't ask for assistance from others. It's fun and challenging. It also teaches you many things about RuneScape.
As fun as this might be, there are some limitations. It isn't possible to prove the character you're portraying is an Ironman and you can't show that other people are.
We're here to help! To help support the incredible game created by the community, we're considering the possibility of adding an ironman-themed mode for the game. We're treating this as an experiment, and can't yet guarantee the date or time it will be released, but we could release a basic implementation before deciding whether it gets developed further.
(The Old School RuneScape group is also considering the ironman look that is a great idea considering that the popularity of ironman has grown out of the OSRS Community. Old School players should be on the lookout for OSRS websites and forums to be a part of the conversation when it occurs.

Ironman mode starts by creating a brand new character. It is impossible to switch off the Ironman game mode once you've entered it.

We'll need to design a way for ironman gamers to complete Heroes Quest or Shield of Arrav on their own. As a goal for a stretch we'd like to think about a hiscore table filter to simply show players who are ironman. A final surprise? Hardcore Ironman is an extended mode that's accessible to the
OSRS buy goldbrave. It is essential to design a brand new character.
